Filming or shooting Beartown? Register here. Astbury Mere is a public space, we don't close it, so accreditation and warden briefing is how we keep media, runners and the public safe together.

Accreditation is issued to individuals, not outlets or teams. If more than one of you is attending, each person needs their own form.

Before you're accredited

Wardens have final say. Volunteer wardens and race directors manage the course throughout. Their instructions on positioning, timing and access are final.

No pacing. Time spent alongside any one athlete will be limited if it starts to look like pacing. Media cannot offer runners tactics, timing or encouragement that functions as support.

Parking. Parking at Astbury Mere is limited. You may be asked to move your vehicle off site during the event to free up space.

Power. There is no power supply on site. Batteries, chargers and power banks for your own equipment are your responsibility.

Litter-free event

Beartown Backyard Ultra is a litter-free event. Take everything you bring away with you.

Any litter left behind results in immediate loss of accreditation and being barred from future Beartown events.
